Resource West was formed in 2006 when Jack Hays, CEO, saw the need for our clients to be able to evaporate water to help reduce the cost of disposal fees. Jack Hays, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, has been in business with the oilfield since 1972 and has a strong reputation of success and honest business. With his expertise and our expert staff, with a combined 12 years of experience, Resource West can help your business find the best evaporator to suit your needs and budget. Resource West currently has evaporation equipment in 22 states and 8 countries in many of different industries. We have the ability to evaporate all types of water. Resource West can evaporate wastewater, production water, storm runoff water and much more. We offer in-pond evaporators as well as on-shore evaporators. Each has many different options including weather stations to promote optimal evaporation.
In 2011 Resource West acquired SMJ, Inc., and now designs and manufactures Axial Flow Fans and accessories for a wide range of applications and industries. Fan designs range from 15"(391mm) to 15' (4572mm) scrubber systems and starters for mining, tunneling, marine, power plants, heavy industry and retro-fit systems. Scrubber systems are laboratory tested (NIOSH 0500 & 7500) and exceed MSHA and AIHA Standards for Coal Dust, Quartz, Cristobalite and Tridymite.
In 2012, Resource West started a line of product, The Commander Series, to assist our clients with hydraulic fracturing needs. Commander Series above ground storage tanks provide advantages in unconventional plays for production companies, consultants and water management companies with a safe, reliable, cost effective, and environmentally responsible containment solution. The tanks include OSHA approved stairs and landing with handrail and removable interior ladder

(4)4" inlet discharge lines (moveable)
and (2) 6" inlet discharge lines (moveable). Commander Series Tanks range in size from Commander T9, 9,779 bbls (76.33' in diameter x 12' high) to Commander T53, 53,331 bbls (178.50' in diameter x 12' high).
