Kokikai Aikido is a modern version of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. Kokikai constantly evolves to provide the highest quality self-defense training.

Kokikai redirects the energy of the attack and takes balance into throws, takedowns, locks and pins. Using advanced bio-mechanics, ki manipulation and mind-body coordination, Kokikai enables you to perform powerful throws, takedowns, arm & wrist locks, and disarms with less strength and effort. The resulting "maximum effect with minimum effort" means that you can defend yourself against bigger, stronger, and faster attackers.

Kokikai's traditional style of training also teaches you to be more effective, positive, healthier and happier in your daily life. At Kokikai Durango, martial training is a means of honing yourself into realizing your full potential and becoming the person you want to be.

Kokikai Durango is accredited and recognized (since 1999) by the Kokikai Aikido International Federation of Nagoya, Japan.
