Mexican Tile Designs was formed out of a love for the beauty of Mexican hand-painted Ceramic Talavera tiles and sinks. No other tiles add the unique warmth and inviting feel to a room like Talavera tile. Their handcrafted quality is such a contrast to the stark, precise manufactured tiles that are used so commonly. After searching for tiles to use in our own adobe home we found several sources in central Mexico that offer tiles that have exquisite rich glazes of the highest quality. We wanted to share our find with those who appreciate the beauty and handcrafted appeal of Talavera tile and who insist on the highest quality. Our goal is to stock a complete inventory of hand-painted Talavera tile, sinks, murals, and accessories from which to choose.
